W&M Atomic Docs
Expanded an open-source front-end component manager library (Atomic Docs) using PHP during the site-wide redesign. Set up code structure to mimic site's Cascade CMS backend and page output, which allows for quick local development, testing, and deployment of new code while cataloging each addition in the atomic system. Web Development highlight: Rows
Additions of new design and functionality for the main websites, mostly in the form of "rows," are ongoing. Working with the Web Designer and Content team, development of these upgrades are done using HTML5, SASS, and vanilla Javascript or jQuery. After QA and testing, the updates are then deployed to Cascade through the use of Configurations, Data Definitions, Content Types, Velocity and XSLT formats, etc. (2023)

SASS Updates
Created multiple SASS maps, variables, functions, and mixins in Atomic Docs to keep the color palette, spacing, breakpoints, fonts and more consistent and easy to update. (2020-21)

W&M Image Management Program (IMP)
A custom PHP/mySQL app using the CodeIgnitor framework and AWS S3 to create an image library with various user roles and admin functions for uploading, searching, and downloading images from our collection. Created an applet for extracting EXIF data and uploading images/data to S3, resulting in a growing library that currently contains over 80,000 images. (2019)

W&M Image Cropper
Launching February 2023
Proposed and built an image cropper utility to assist editors with creating the wide range of custom image sizes required for the site. Using PHP and Javascript, the app allows users to upload an image, select a size from a menu, modify it, and then download the cropped image. (2023)
